Autorenporträt
Catherine Labinski (Cathy) graduated from Alverno College with a B.S. in Elementary Education and earned a Masters Degree in Theological Studies from St. Francis Seminary, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has served for fifteen years as a home hospice chaplain with Pro Health Home Care in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Her hospice ministry was grounded in a spirituality of mutuality of gift-giving. She shared her gifts with the dying and was open to receive their gifts - trust, wisdom, blessings, songs, courage, laughter, inspiring stories and their sense of peace. She currently volunteers weekly as a chaplain at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. She resides in Dousman, Wisconsin, with her loving supportive husband, Richard, and together they enjoy traveling, going to theater productions, Milwaukee Festivals, dancing and spending time with their grandchildren.
