Eric Lee is a journalist and historian based in the UK. He is the author of six published books, including The Experiment: Georgia's Forgotten Revolution 1918-1921 (Zed/Bloomsbury, 2017) and Night of the Bayonets: The Texel Uprising and Hitler's Revenge April-May 1945 (2020). He was awarded an honorary doctorate from Ilia State University, Georgia and is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
