M. Dhanalakshmi is currently practising as an independent business consultant at Chennai. She has previously worked as Assistant Professor at the Disha College of Commerce, Raipur (affiliated to the Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University) and also at the Bharathi Women Arts and Science College (Tamil Nadu, affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University.
