Molin is a member of the Chippewa Tribe from the White Earth Reservation. She is the author of American Indian Themes in Young Adult Literature (Scarecrow Press, 2005) and coauthor with Hirschfelder of American Indian Stereotypes in the World of Children (Scarecrow Press, 1999).
