Der Fotograf Thorsten Milse ist ein international bekannter Natur- und Tierfotograf. Mit seinen Fotos von jungen Eisbären gewann er den Grand Prize beim amerikanischen Naturfotowettbewerb Natures Best und einen Preis beim renommierten BBC Wildlife photographer of the year. Er veröffentlicht u.a. in Magazinen wie GEO, BBC Wildlife, Natures Best und Illustreret Videnskab. Seine Fotos werden von internationalen Bildagenturen vermarktet und erscheinen weltweit in Büchern, Kalendern und in der Werbung.Die Autorin: Uta Henschel hat Literaturwissenschaft studiert und ist seit 1978 Journalistin für naturwissenschaftliche Themen, insbesondere im Bereich Zoologie und Verhaltensforschung. Sie schreibt u.a. für die bekannte Zeitschrift GEO. 2002 erhielt sie den Publizistik-Preis der Deutschen Stiftung Gesundheit.
