Try the EZ-PZ Way!¿ 5 whimsical stories your child will love Featuring 3-letter "CVC" words that your child can actually read (and recommended by experts!) Word lists to practice those words Flash pages to test their retention Based on phonics principles promoted by literacy experts (and proven more effective than sight words!) Our Happiness Promise: Love it, or your money back Unleash Your EZ-PZ Reader Today! ADDITIONAL DETAILS.... Other benefits:learn ~45 new words ending in -an -ay -en -ip -od fun with rhyming (which experts say is an important literacy skill) cute stories and characters builds confidence builds phonological awareness not simply simple words (while our books feature "consonant-vowel-consonant" words, they also include some challenging words to learn other important reading skills and avoid monotony) Good for preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and children with reading challenges Here's how we're different than those little reading book sets:their books often feature a lot of repetitive sentences (Bill hugs mom; Bill hugs dad...) which can be boring for young, imaginative minds they tend to focus on groups of sight words or groups of simple words, but they don't usually focus on the same sound, to get readers to their "aha" moment their characters can sometimes be creepy they often use rule-breaker words, which can be frustrating for beginners - while we don't shy away from using some long or challenging words, we try to avoid frustrating rule-breakers This volume (Volume 2) features the following 5 EZ-PZ Reading Stories:A Day at the Bay Kip Gets A Fat Lip Jen and her Hen Rod and the Cod Dan Gets a Tan
Autorenporträt
Joe Tadros was born and raised in Southern California and has lived there for most of his life. He and his wife have three wonderful kids: two boys and one girl. When his middle child, Tyler, was 3¿ years old, Joe started creating lists of short, rhyming 3-letter words to introduce the concept of reading to him...and it worked! He quickly began reading words on his own, has since become a great little reader, and even started reading chapter books in kindergarten! About three years later, when it came time to teach his daughter to read, Joe began creating short, whimsical stories using the words from the same word lists he created for Tyler with the hope of making the process of learning to read more fun and engaging. Through these books, the Tadros family hopes to share the joy of reading with budding readers and help other families along their reading journeys!Joe studied the impact of literacy on societies during his undergraduate work at Yale University, and now works in corporate compliance helping companies to conduct business ethically and do the right thing. Having spent many years as a litigator, Joe came to appreciate the power and nuance of the English language. As a son of immigrants and as a parent, he is intimately familiar with the importance of teaching language and literacy to our children and the many challenges involved. Let's get reading!
