Autorenporträt

Kris Hall earned his Master's Degree in Playwriting at Rutgers University, studying under Roger Cornish, an expert on British theatre. While living in New York, Kris met his future wife at a reading of his play: The Fabian Waltz. The bold, feminist beliefs of the Victorian characters intrigued Kim and she asked to meet the author. They've been together ever since. Kris and Kim have two grown girls. They enjoy a hobby farm in West Virginia, with many animals. Inky the cat is Kris' faithful writing companion. Kim Harbour, Kris' wife, created the interior sketches and designed the book. Kim has a Master of Art's degree from Parsons School of Design. She worked in New York children's book publishing and Los Angeles interactive marketing for more than 15 years. Now, she is a project manager for the state of West Virginia.
