The objective of this dissertation is to present didactic solutions for a captive audience in a professional university course. Based on psychological concepts such as scaffolding, on technologies used by learners such as the Internet and social networks, and on animation techniques that are not very recent but have proven their worth, such as role-playing and global simulations, the trainee teacher tried an experiment with her learners on Facebook: a global simulation. The simulation involved a fictitious hotel with its team of hotel professionals (part of the learners) and its customers (another part of the learners), the staff and the customers had to interact, which put the learners in a professional situation. After the presentation of this experience and its analysis, some conclusions will be drawn and suggestions for improvement will be made.
