D.W. Socha grew up in a Western Massachusetts factory town, before studying at Ithaca College. Her work has won several awards including the Rod Serling Award for screenwriting. When she's not working, she enjoys digging up bones at active archaeological sites, and whiskey tastings. She doesn't like running, but she does it three times a week.
