YOU'VE GOT TO TRY THIS ONE!The Family Duran can be as tender as it is fierce: Take a journey back in time when love was innocent and passions simmered in the hearts of Ricardo and Lidia. Though their meeting is born from a tragic land war, their hearts burn with desire for one another. Though traditions of the times hold them back, they tempt fate with each tender touch or rushed kiss."Thank you," Ricardo replied and then felt a sudden surge of energy shoot through his hand and through his body to his toes when he accepted a bowl of posole, brought to the table by the young woman at the stove. His eyes quickly rose to discover the face of a brown angel, introduced as, Lidia. She felt the charge as well and let go of the bowl, which nearly fell from Ricardo's grasp. Her heart fluttered from the shock, as their eyes locked together for a brief but noticeable moment. The author turns the clock back to 1910 - before the majority of homes had electricity, telephones, and indoor plumbing. For around $500 Sears and Roebuck would send out kits to build a home. America was trying to become a civilized nation but still burst out with gun battles, the lynching of horse thieves, recollection of the Alamo, and land wars. Automobiles only frequently visited the roads, and families provided their own entertainment with books, magazines, or music from anyone who could play. Back in those days friendships were sealed with blood, and love grew out of the necessity to survive. David doc Robertson is a multi-cultural writer who enjoys giving life to characters of all origins.
