Autorenporträt
David Bryan Lawrence is a Yooper or Upper Peninsula of Michigan native. David makes his home in the heart of this beautiful and desolate land mass with his son, Christian. He has been a paranormal investigator since 1974 and has educated students in the field since 1982. David is the founder of the UPST (Upper Peninsula Spook Team) which offers training academies for fledgling ghost hunters across the Midwest and elsewhere. David's personal experience includes West Coast hunts like the Del Coronado in San Diego, Alcatraz off of San Francisco and the Queen Mary in L.A. East Coast adventures include the now demolished Greystone Asylum, and the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, various locations in Philadelphia, the Waldorf in N.Y., etc. A few of his out of country visits include Tulum and Chichen Itza pyramids, with their sacrificial pits in Mexico and the mystical Voo Doo huts of Haiti. David's other passion is coaching and in The Family Guide to Ghost Hunting he has combined this skill with history, technique and good humor to help you build your own paranormal team. Christian Lawrence is a thirteen year old grade school student in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Having started his paranormal career at the age of four, Christian has hunted at least every other weekend for years in six states and two countries. He now conducts his own "KID" sessions at UPST academies and has gained renown as likely the most experienced investigator of his age in North America. His contributions to The Family Guide to Ghost Hunting are not limited to his sometimes humorous CN's (Christian Notes) but extend to photo and overall editing.
