Naaman was the captain of the Syrian Army around 850 B.C. In the account of the war between Syria and Israel, as recorded in I Kings 15, God gave Captain Naaman the victory over Israel. In II Kings 5, it is written that Naaman was a mighty man of valor, but was a leper. So who was this servant girl, and where did she come from? This is a story, and only a story. Brad has worked with young teens in his church youth group for over 15 years. He has been published in a childrens magazine and has written many articles in the local town paper. He has also written and established many town ordinances, and has written state statutes. "I enjoy writing fictional stories, because I can let my imagination run with an idea. It is more pleasant to write stories than official documents." Brad has a wife, Susan, who teaches first grade at a Christian school, and has two sons, Brandon and Jacob. While serving for 24 years in the US Navy/Reserves, Brad has traveled to the Far East and the Mediterranean area. He enjoys the out-of-doors, and thinks of many stories to write while walking the woods in New Hampshire. "I always want to find new ways to spur the interest of teenagers to read God's Word. I hope this book helps people of all ages to grow an interest in the stories of the Old Testament.
