Autorenporträt
Mrs. Beshir is a retired teacher. She taught children for many years . She has two adult sons and several grandchildren which she adores. She was inspired by her students and grandchildren to write stores for the young ones and also young adults. Born in Kauai, which she loves talking about along with other Islands is natural for her. These stories were particularly inspired when she was teaching a Language Arts class. She says" I was trying to show my students how to write a story using some examples that I had and this led me to start the first story." She then decided to create some adventures for each character from the first story. "It was a lot of fun as I shared my stories with the students and my grandchildren later." She has written other stories and will soon publish them. Darlene lives in Southern California with her husband, and two cats. She continues to enjoy writing stories about adventures for us to enjoy.
