Owen Rees is a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellow at the University of Nottingham and holds a PhD in ancient history from Manchester Metropolitan University. A founder and lead editor of historical fact-checking site Bad Ancient, he currently lives in Nottingham, UK.
