Aizen grew up in and around Miami, Florida. This is where he would be raised by two powerfully inspiring parents who always supported the idea of creative writing. From a father who wrote and produced 200+ songs, to a mother who read and told stories to him throughout childhood, Aizen had a solid foundation to go off of. He took his first crack at writing a novel at the young age of 11 years old on his mother's Windows 98 computer. It was filled with dragons, knights, magic, and adventure. Once Aizen got a taste of world building, he would never look back. Inspired by science fiction novels like Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix and The Supernaturalist by Eoin Colfer, Aizen shortly began shifting his focus more towards sci-fi themes over the fantasy of his earlier years. Aizen went to the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale as well as Santa Fe college in Gainesville, FL until realizing that university life was no longer for him. He moved away from schooling and got into various different industries while beginning to write his very first full-fledged novel. Aizen then moved across the country to Portland, Oregon where he would live for 3 years. Along the way he made promising connections and unforgettable memories that would find their way into his writing. With the desire for more unforgettable memories, Aizen decided to drop his career as a Finance Manager to travel the United States for an entire year. He lived out of an RV while driving from state to state; collecting precious memories from incredibly unique experiences. Nowadays, he resides in the greater LA area of California where he plans to propel his career to new heights!
