The women of Angels Four, were elite pilots of the British Air Transportation Auxiliary during WWII. The women's section of the ATA is a storied saga, with 166 women pilots from nine countries, including 25 from America, doing their part. They not only ferried a myriad of combat fighter and bomber aircraft from the factories scattered across England to the RAF Squadrons, an elite four were selected to fly armed Spitfires as escorts for Anson transport airplanes with high value cargo or VIPs. From 1942 until early 1944, the story of romance, betrayal, air-to-air combat and secrets of British air defenses are revealed. From Presidents to mechanics; smell, taste and feel the pain, joy, and mud of Angels Four, while one in particular drills deeply into the British Special Operation Executive organization for unique and dangerous missions. Pan across the European and Asian theaters of war to feel the pain of the Japanese Zero blasting the American Marine and Navy airplanes, then swelter in the north African desert with Erwin Rommel and his Afrika Corps with the Luftwaffe's own villainous Otto Kelter, on the prowl for his quest of the German Knight's Cross. Fold in the harrowing escape from Holland by an RAF fighter pilot back to England, only to fall in love with one of his students. That's just a taste of the Angels Four story.
