The discernment of the subtleties of the error that is hidden as truth so that the splendor of the beauty of the mystery of divine revelation may appear, this has been the main mission of theology since the Fathers of the Church, among others Irenaeus of Lyons. This was also the intuition of Hans Urs von Balthasar in the face of the trap of Western rationalism, against which he invites us to revisit the path of self-revelation of a God who "shows himself", "gives himself" and "tells himself" so that man can enter into his mystery. This is also our ambition in the face of the intuition that religious fervour in the Ivory Coast is smouldering wandering. This has led us to rely on the Balthasarian path to exhort discernment of the Christian element in our context. What is at stake in our approach is that, in the end, man fully assumes himself in the figure of Christ inasmuch as he is the glory of God manifested and revealing to human nature its fullness of itself.
