Lisa Maydwell, an Indiana native, spent her career as a dedicated elementary school teacher before retiring. Raised in Indiana, she found fulfillment in nurturing young minds and shaping the future. Lisa, a proud mother of two beautiful daughters and three grandchildren, transitioned into a new chapter when introduced to Robert W. Lee by a childhood classmate. Their connection deepened when Lisa was commissioned to capture the essence of Mr. Lee's life in his memoirs. Throughout the writing process, the two developed a strong bond and genuine friendship. Currently, Ms. Maydwell is a Screenplay Writer and Producer in the Atlanta film market.
