In addition, Jacci is the author of the Amazon best-selling young adult novel, The Cage, the first book in The Birthright series.Her YA book, Snapped, is about Snapchat gone wrong and how to stand up to cyberbullying. It received five stars from Litpick and was a Wishing Shelf finalist. Her YA book, Cracker, is an alternative history and helps us understand what it is like to be a marginalized person. Teachers use the Discussion guide in the back to help students talk about difficult topics like race, microaggressions, and systemic injustice.Her middle grade fantasy, Shipwrecked, was written alongside fourth-grade students in Idaho.In an amazing show of generosity, 1200 of Jacci's books were given to the WCSD libraries by a patron.
