R. A. Williams is a writer, book editor and book designer. Trained as an archaeologist, Williams has conducted research and fieldwork throughout the western US, and has worked as a political campaign manager, theatre manager, playwright, advertising copywriter, and head writer for a well-known circus. Williams now edits and designs books and book covers for other authors, as well as writing plays, poems, and short stories. The Sand Swallows Everything is Williams's first novel.
