Stone Palatin's "First Immortal" saga continues with the second book in the trilogy, "Angel Blood." This new novel picks up at the same frenetic pace established in "Dark Angel," as a startling discovery plunges the reader headlong into a new adventure full of amazing escapes and magnificent battles. The action-packed tale of Enoch resumes with The Dark Lord attempting to uncover - and counterfeit - the secret of his fantastic powers. Meanwhile the Nephilim "triplets," Hades, Poseidon and Zeus, have become seemingly unstoppable in their bid to overthrow the powers that be with their tyrannical expansionism and horrific biological experiments. Belhah and Hera, the outcast wife of Cain, will both become possessed by evil spirits. Temptation and lust, power and greed - all affect the shifting relationships between the characters. A full cast of giants, saber-tooths, battle-unicorns, golems and prehistoric beasts - creatures the like of which have never before been seen - all contribute to the action-packed scenes that the reader has become accustomed to in Palatin's unique brand of story-telling.
Autorenporträt
Stone Palatin is married with four children and four wonderful grandchildren. He attended what was, at that time, the largest High School in Texas, and was very active in his church youth group. He felt the call into ministry the summer between his junior and senior year. That call prompted his father to accept Christ as his personal savior while changing Stone's life goals from football and pre-med to the ministry. After graduating from University in Abilene, majoring in Bible and Education while working in small country churches in Youth and Music Ministry, Stone attended Theological Seminary and continued to serve in ministerial positions. As the Minister of Education and Youth he won five awards for Church Growth; his was the second fastest growing church in the Southern Baptist Convention. While he wrote many short lessons and trade articles, he finally got to develop these stories about the pre-diluvian earth that he had rattling around his brain for all those years. His tour of duty into the spiritual lives of thousands of parishioners uniquely qualifies him to expose the spiritual warfare that goes on unseen all around us.
