Retired from five decades at Kettering Health Network, Arthur Caviness lives in Centerville, Ohio, a suburb of Dayton. His last position was in Human Resources and Corporate Integrity as a regulatory specialist. He earned a bachelor's degree from Union College, Lincoln, Nebraska, and a master's at Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. He spent two-and-one-half years of his childhood on the campus of Avondale University College in Cooranbong, Australia-nearby Ellen White's 'Sunnyside' home-waking each morning to laughing kookaburras. He enjoys playing softball, birdwatching, and his grandchildren, and is a member of the Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church. Romans 8:28 is his favorite Bible text: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God."
