Penny Bonadonna Donehoo immigrated to the United States, with her family, from Ventimiglia, Sicily, when she was six months old. She worked as a pediatric occupational therapist in schools until she retired. Currently, she spends time babysitting and telling stories to her eight grandchildren. Being with children is one of the greatest joys of her life. She lives in the Chicagoland area with her husband.
