Cooper Pearmain has big plans for a quiet and cushy retirement on the ocean. He has a secret about his wife that would prove devastating to her. Though Lilibet's acting career has long expired, she is determined to remain relevant at all costs. She, too, has a secret that could destroy her husband's hard-earned work. They both abhor one another, and the only bond the couple has left is these secrets. People are starting to question whether their shocking public wars are all just acts of eccentrics trying to revive Lilibet's career, or they are locked together in some sadomasochistic codependency. When the Pearmains suspect the Mayfields, a psychology undergraduate and her husband, are threatening to expose both of them before either Cooper or Lilibet get to use their weapons of reckoning, the young couple becomes embroiled in a horrifically hilarious vacation that will change everyone in ways they never could imagine. Unfortunately, they all learn the hard way that some things are better confessed.
