He teamed up with Jacksonville's youngest and only African-American female newscaster to research the case. The couple's research became intertwined with investigations of American, British and French security agencies tracing the bombers. A British MI6 agent discovered that the bomb was directed by Saudi terrorists to threaten the chairman of the FECR Board.
