Der Autor ist Magister der brasilianischen Literatur an der Universität von São Paulo und beschäftigt sich seit seinem Studium mit Vinícius de Moraes, als er mit finanzieller Unterstützung des Nationalen Rates für wissenschaftliche und technologische Entwicklung ein wissenschaftliches Initiativprojekt mit dem Titel "O Amadurecimento Poético e a Conscientização Política em Vinícius de Moraes" ("Poetische Reifung und politisches Bewusstsein bei Vinícius de Moraes") vorlegte.
