M. A. Nelson is a former church administrator and one of the founding members of Vineyard Community Church in Orange County, California, which she started with her late husband Jim. Today Nelson serves in a prayer-counseling ministry in association with Red Oak Healing Center and has a passion for small group, interactive Bible studies, which she sees as the heartbeat of every church. Nelson is also a professional watercolorist whose works may be found in private collections across the nation.
