With over twenty-five years of experience, he specializes in working with complex youth and families, focusing on resilience and positive psychology. He's known for his expertise in enhancing strengths, capacity building, and promoting positive well-being in academic, organizational, and community settings. Hammond has served in clinical supervisory roles, worked in residential treatment centers, and provided clinical services in forensic and hospital settings. He has published scientific articles and developed an innovative model for evaluating resilience and human flourishing. As a lecturer, he emphasizes the importance of human flourishing and well-being, advocating for a strength-based approach to nurturing positive coping and mental health for individuals and organizations.
