Deep inside we all know there is a better and more satisfying way to live. Constantly distracted, we hunger for a life that is deep and lasting and real. In The Focused Life, author and long-time minister Richard S. Hipps provides a fresh look at obtaining everything we need to become vibrant, growing Christians and live the way Jesus intended. With wisdom and insight, The Focused Life centers on fresh interpretations of the eight Beatitudes. Using scriptural examples, anecdotes, and compelling stories that illustrate faith at work in everyday life, Hipps shows how God can work to change our habitual patterns. The Focused Life provides good food and fresh drink for all who hunger and thirst for a life beyond the shallowness of our fast-paced present existence. It presents an approach to an alternate, honest, down-to-earth, common sense, spiritual way of being-the life Jesus wanted us all to live.
