Claire Duende was born in Ghana, West Africa of an English father and Spanish mother. She has spent most of her life working as a designer and lives in an old cottage in Cornwall, England with her husband and dogs. Their grown children have now fled the nest but often come back to fill the house with light and laughter.The Fortunicity of Birdie Dalal is Claire Duende's first published book.
