Autorenporträt
Darlene DeCrane is originally from Ohio where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Bowling Green State University. Her professional career includes eighteen years as a classroom teacher and twelve years as an elementary principal. She was recognized as both a Martha Holden Jennings Scholar and a nominee for State Teacher of the Year in Ohio.In 2003, after retirement, Darlene and her husband of fifty years, Gregg, relocated to Sunset Beach, North Carolina. In 2021, they moved to Ocean Isle Beach. They enjoy reading, movies, golf, going to the beach, and traveling the world. They treasure their time spent with family-two daughters, two sons-in-law, and three grandchildren who call them Mimi and Papa.
