Autorenporträt
My third book already? I like the pace so far! This is a short story I wrote a few years back that looks about two years to finish. Three years if you count me going through and editing it for about a week before publishing it on here. This book is one of my first really big stories. I intended for it to be a novelette, but didn't feel like breaking it up into chapters since I felt that ruined the pacing. This is definitely my definitive vampire work and something I may return to later. I wrote an additional five thousand word continuation for the story, but I doubt if it will ever be continued or published and released. Looking back I was surprised to find that Altair's journey through the 1700s mirrored my life from 2015 to 2019 in many ways. It was so strange editing through the manuscript to find weird connections and allegories to things I had been experiencing while writing this tale. It wasn't;t even on purpose, I believe I just did t all subconsciously. Anyways, I hope you enjoy! Till next time!
