Autorenporträt
Edward J. Sanchez was born on 07/21/1983 in San Antonio. He grew up in Ravenna and Stow Ohio. Growing up he wanted to be an architect, but as he grew up he started to draw quite regularly. He loved to read comics as a child enjoying Tod Macfarlane's Spawn, and Japanese films such as Vampire Hunter D. and Akira. As he became a teenager he decided to get into Fine Arts, specifically Painting and Drawing. He graduated from the University of Akron Mary Shiller Myers School of Art, with a BFA In Painting and Drawing, and to this day is a practicing Fine Artist. In January of 2021 he started a book called "Notes on painting: my thoughts on how to get better at painting" He abandoned the book for the time being, to write his first fictional novel "The Fourth Floor." He is heavily influenced by the book "Fight Club" and the work of Stephen King. He currently lives and works in Stow Ohio.
