All this plates derived from an our copy of the book "Atlas de l'Histoire de l'ancienne infanterie française" Paris, J. Corréard, 1853. All the images has been restored by human beings, page by page, so that you may enjoy it in a form as close to the original as possible. On this second and last volume are present about 80 colour plates and a short history about the Ancien Régime, his army and his campaigns.

Luca Stefano Cristini (Bergamo 1958) is an Italian historian, and historical illustrator with a particular interest in the XVII century history, (principally about 30 years war). He is also the editorial manager of Soldiershop publishing, an Italian publishing company specializing in military and illustrated history. He currently lives near Bergamo in North Italy.
