Autorenporträt
SUSAN MILLNS is a Reader in European Legal Studies at the University of Kent, UK, where she teaches courses in European Union Law and European Human Rights Law. Her research interests lie in the area of comparative public law, human rights and feminist legal theory. She is the Managing Editor of Feminist Legal Studies. MERCEDES MATEO DIAZ is Junior Professional at the Inter-American Development Bank and holds a Mandat Honorifique FNRS (Fonds Nationale de Recherche Scientifique, Belgium) since December 2004. She has been a postdoctoral Marie Curie Fellow at the Robert Schumann Center, European University Institute, Florence, Italy. Her research interests revolve around the fields of comparative politics, political representation, and institutional reform. She has made a number of significant contributions to edited works and to peer-reviewed journals. Her doctoral thesis entitled Representing Women? Female Legislators in West European Parliaments has been recently published in the ECPR's monograph series.
