Since founding of the FIVB (1947) until its premier as an Olympic sport (1964), modern Volleyball was imprinted with many technical & tactical innovations. Volleyball was introduced in India by Dr. J.H. Grey in 1921. Volleyball was first introduced at the Asian Games in 1958 at Tokyo were India get the Third Position. Men s volleyball was included as an event in the Olympic Games in 1960.
