T. N. Kaylor lives in a "classified" location in Nevada where she weaves colorful characters into action-packed adventures with bizarre twists. As a child, timeless reruns of The Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock Presents served as her black-and-white babysitter. Her earliest influences included Agatha Christie and Stephen King. At age twelve, she wrote her first zombie story on wide-ruled notebook paper with a No. 2 pencil. As it circulated, she found the amazed reactions of teachers combined with the squealing delight of students to be powerfully addicting. She has been writing ever since. Over the course of her career, she has been a technical writer, a published academic, and a copy editor. Now, building on those literary skills, she injects her dark humor and twisted, visual imagination into gritty character-driven fiction set in surrealist dystopian worlds. She has published many short stories in weird anthologies and fringe magazines. Popular in Japan, her collection of word art, The Zen of Horror, is now in its forth edition. Her superhero novella Magnitude features a magnetic battle against an immortal Vlad the Impaler.
