Alan Frizzell, BA, MA, is a well-known pollster and political analyst. He is co-author of the three previous volumes of The Canadian General Election in 1984, 1988, and 1993. Jon H. Pammett, BA, MA, PhD, is Professor of Political Science at Carleton University, where he specializes in the study of Canadian elections. He co-authored The Canadian General Election of 1988 and The Canadian General Election of 1993 as well as Absent Mandate: Interpreting Change in Canadian Elections and Political Choice in Canada.
