He was lead acupuncturist at one of the largest hospices in the UK with experience in treating terminal and life limiting diseases and cancer. He is also the author of the website and blog- johndixonacupunctue.co.uk. He also has publications in several journals such as the North American Journal of Oriental Medicine, the International Journal of Palliative Medicine and Qi Journal. He has also written other books including the Tradition of Blind Acupuncturists in Japan.
