Jeffrey Wertz was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, but since his father was a soldier in the U.S. Army, he spent much of his childhood living on various Army bases across the U.S. and Germany. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Business while serving with the U.S. Military in Frankfurt, GermanyAfter serving eight years in the Army, Jeff took a job with the Department of Defense, and has spent the rest of his career working oversees, supporting soldiers and their families.The subject of this book is his passion.
