After the war, he headed west and ended up in Indian Territory. The lives of the nine Rinn children, who were often called "the spirited bunch," are chronicled. The narrative concludes with pictures of Rinn family gatherings. Containing more than lists of names, dates and places, this book tells the Lewis Rinn family story illustrated with more than 200 photos and graphics in the hopes of preserving their family history for future generations.
Autorenporträt
Janelle Pond Richardson is the great granddaughter of Lewis and Marguerite Rinn and the granddaughter of their oldest child, Lottie Rinn Pond. She earned a B.S. degree from Iowa State University and a M.A. degree from California State University Long Beach. She has studied her ancestors for more than 25 years, gathering their records and stories, learning about the times they lived, and writing about them. She received an award from the Southern California Genealogical Society Writing Contest for her story about Edmond Rinn, "I Went to France to Fight." Her previous book, The Families of James and Mary Bowen Chappell, is available at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.
