Autorenporträt
Charles Cruickshank was educated at Aberdeen Grammar School, Aberdeen University, Hertford College, Oxford, and Edinburgh University before joining the Ministry of Supply in 1940. He retired in 1973, and is the author of Elizabeth's Army and Henry VIII and the Invasion of France.
