Autorenporträt
Georg Schuppener is Professor at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Slovakia and at the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyn¿ in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic. He is an Honorary Professor at the Institute for Communication and Media Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences and Philosophy, University of Leipzig, Germany. He is the winner of several academic prizes, including the Theodor Frings Prize of the Saxon Academy of Sciences in Leipzig, Germany, and he is author of numerous publications on the history of language, culture, and science.
