Emily Martin has always embraced whatever is thrown at her. After her own varied and absorbing career in agriculture, she was living a busy and fulfilling family life in the close-knit regional community of St George in South West Queensland. During a cool early morning cycle with two mates in the summer of 2015, all of that suddenly changed. A serious accident left Emily with an acquired brain injury, and her well-oiled life imploded, affecting everyone near and dear to her. This book of Emily's reaction to her new situation - and her ongoing recovery - is her gift to you. She will show you how you too can take responsibility for yourself and for what your life journey holds. Emily has framed her story around the nine signature strengths she believes are essential to creating a well-lived life.

Autorenporträt
Emily Martin grew up in the beautiful state of Oklahoma with her sister and parents. She's always had four passions in life: God, family, reading, and animals. Emily gave her life to Christ on Easter Sunday when she was around seven years old. Ever since, God has taken her on a remarkable journey of faith that continues every day. With her stories, Emily hopes to plant seeds of faith in people's hearts who believe they are unworthy and show them how much God truly loves them.
