She titled the series The Gift, in hopes it would cause the reader to try and find the gift. Leaving it up to them to decide what the greatest gift is. There are three parts to the book; Part one, "Amelia Rose," which takes place when GG, Great Grandma, is in her elder years and she lives her faith strongly. Her Great Granddaughter Amelia Rose becomes her apprentice, eventually taking the baton. The Second part, "From Whence She Came," is a prequel of "GG's" life. In this book you find out why Loretta Rose, who becomes Great Grandma, "GG" is such a woman of faith, as well as a few other surprises like a very precious gift. In the Third Part "Away from the Darkness and Into the Light," there is a healing that changes everything, and the greatest gift of all is found. Faith comes alive through these pages in the form of Prayer Blankets, forgiveness, compassion, and love. The prayer blankets come from home grown wool threads which become mystical hand crocheted blankets with loops of love spoken into them and sent on journeys filled with grace from faithful hearts.
