To her dismay, Annabelle becomes the tallest girl in her class. She shares her dreams and fears with Leo. Leo wasn't born perfect, in fact, he has a crooked tail and funny spots on his face, but that never bothered him much! Annabelle sees the good in others but not in herself. As she grows taller, she becomes more self-conscious about her body. But Annabelle's parents and Leo love her just the way she is. When she grows up, she discovers that dreams come true but sometimes in unexpected ways.

Cheryl Amyx grew up in Virginia. Her parents love of art, antiques, design, books and history provided her a canvas to learn and a desire to explore the world. She loves writing stories, reading, traveling, spending time with her family and being with her horses. She has written a screen play and has another book in the works. Cheryl is a former government services entrepreneur and has a long history supporting the government and other business owners. She and her family live outside of Washington, D.C.
