From an early age, Kaitlyn, never passed up the opportunity to capture an audience with her animated storytelling. Many times, her storytelling came in the form of talking over her little sister on the way home from school. She enjoyed making people laugh and smile from an early age. After receiving her Bachelors of Arts in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, Kaitlyn headed to Houston, Texas to work in Oil & Gas. 7 years later, her first child was born and life's perspective changed. Like many parents, she was inspired by her daughter's outlook and the lessons she was learning from someone so tiny and new to the world. The very essence of confidence and being true to yourself were qualities instilled by her own parents, however, her daughter was a physical reminder, inspiring book. The Girl with the Mismatched Pajamas has received rave reviews by little munchkins everywhere. Kaitlyn still resides in Houston with her husband and 2 daughters, but takes every opportunity to go back to her home state of Michigan to spend time on the Great Lakes with her family. Her daughters still love wearing pajamas and they still don't match.
