Susan Jane Wright was a lawyer before she became a writer. Her legal career took her from the boardrooms of Calgary to the streets of Beijing. She writes legal thrillers. The Glass Lake is the second in the Evie Valentine legal thriller series. Her debut novel Box of Secrets was a finalist in the 2021 Crime Writers of Canada Award of Excellence for Best Unpublished Manuscript. Her short story Madeline in the Moonlight was published in Moonlight and Misadventures.When she's not writing she's travelling with her husband and two daughters.
