A short catalogue of the chronological sequence of theories positioning goal-like constructs can be found in the appendix.

Autorenporträt
Dr. Christian Rauch, Jahrgang 1962, studierte Zahnheilkunde an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität in Münster (Westfalen). Examen 1987, Promotion 1992, seit 1989 in eigener Praxis als Zahnarzt niedergelassen. Er ist Trainer und Supervisor der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Zahnärztliche Hypnose (DGZH) e.V. Zusammen mit Uwe Rudol, Siegen leitet er die Regionalstelle NRW der DGZH.
