The Golden Feather Challenge is a year-long quest to complete a set of difficult tasks that were purposefully (and prayerfully) created for boys 15-18 years of age. With a strong emphasis on taking responsibility for one's own life, these challenges are designed to cause friction with the immature mind and stir the man within to rise. As parents, It's of great value that our boys know that we are confident in them, but it is far more powerful when our sons prove to themselves that they have what it takes to accomplish difficult goals. As David Storey says, 'Self-confidence is the memory of success.' And each completed challenge will give them a success to remember. Along with the challenges, we also included blank (lined) pages that allow the boys to record their thoughts, actions, and results for each of the tasks. These Journal entries are important. Each boy who demonstrates the discipline to write them will have a lasting record of his triumphs toward manhood. Over time,The Golden Feather Challenge and journal entries may become a cherished family heirloom, inspiring generations to come.
